“Look out Arouthor!” Harold said, as he dodged the statue and was getting ready to take it out.
“Thanks,” I said.
When I dodged the statue, it looked like a knight. I ran up to it and smashed it to bits. Hmm it must be a minion, I thought. Just then all of the statues fell and I said:
“Wow you must have some power about you!”
Harold responded “I sure do.”
We entered the next room and faced four human soldiers. Harold went first, he used a spell on all of them, and three of them fell prone, but the other one started to fight. When the three were dead, the other one turned out to be a doppelganger.
“Look,” she said, “I don’t want to die today; if you let me escape I’ll tell you where Malareth is.”
Harold and I thought, and exchanged glances and said, “We will let you live.”
She smiled and said, “I am ever so grateful and if you ever need anything I can get it for you.”
“You have done a lot already, but thanks.”
“You are so welcome. Malareth is that way.” She pointed to a door at the end of the hall.
“Man, I can smell death in there.” I said.
“Well let’s go in.” Harold said.
When we entered the room we could see a man next to three skeletons and a hulking zombie (maybe a giant). Without looking at us the man said, “Kill them!!”
First we killed the skeletons, then we got the zombie and then we confronted Malareth.
“You should not have come here; it is not wise to confront me!” He said.
“It’s not nice to steal from others!” I said in bravery.
“It was not his to begin with.” Said Malareth.
“Well we are going to take you out anyway!!” I said, and then it was a blur, but I remember swords and ice and Malareth falling dead, and Harold saying “Yes we did it!”
The next day we returned the box to the merchant and he said, “Thank you so much you don’t know what this means to me.”
“You’re welcome.” I said. Harold and I left the next day to find what we had lost.
I have lost my love and Harold, his family. What will we do next?
